2018 is officially over.
I can't say that I'll miss it at all. It started off great, went to shit, got better, went back to shit and ended on a high note. A lot of highs and lows. The best moments consisted of watching my daughter grow into this wild and intelligent personality; the unlike of which no other parents have said before about their child. (that's sarcasm) I went up northeast to Massachusetts and Maine and explored breweries and landscapes. Shit, I even went to Disney World at some point.
The low point of my year is when my Gramps passed away. I know most people have this traditional grandparent - grandchild relationship; but my Gramps was more like my buddy than anything else. We would talk about all sorts of shit most people wouldn't even think about discussing with their grandparents. I'll miss him; but I think he left a decent amount of knowledge with me so that I will never be without him if that makes sense.
So; as it seems with age and children my photography presence has dwindled since my early days. I still have passion for photography.

June - Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
The first trip we took was to celebrate my sister turning 21. So, we went to the Wisconsin Dells because they have pretty much everything you need to ensure you have a good weekend. Screaming kids, crowded water parks, and tourist traps. They also have decent beer, cheese, and decent landscapes if you look outside the Dells.
