Chicago Cold
Two years ago today I took this image at North Avenue Beach after the cold wave known as the Polar Vortex hit Chicago and most of the Midwest and East coast. Basically, it was cold as fuck. I always hear people from or around the Chicagoland area say, "Only in Chicago does the weather do this wacky shit." It's just not true. Have you been anywhere else in the world? Weather is psychotic. It does weird shit like that one friend you have that believes in almost every conspiracy theory they read so they plan on moving into a remote part of the country to live off the fruit of the land like God intended them to live.
I really liked how Lake Michigan was glossed over with the long exposure because I feel it played in perfect with the snow and ice along the lakefront.
