Pompeii & The Volcano
On our way from Montalcino to Praiano we stopped to see the ruins of the city of Pompeii. When I was young one of the memories I had from Disney World was from Spaceship Earth when they show the guy rolling down the street with the horse through Pompeii. I know, weird memory. I saw some borderline fucked up shit here. I mean, the entire city was engulfed in lava and death, and yet some of it survived. I'm not sure we could say the same about today's construction.
